This page explains items that cannot be imported worldwide, as well as hazardous goods that cannot be shipped by air due to safety risks.

Hazardous Items Not Allowed in International Air Transport

(Items that may endanger aircraft or postal transport)

Products covered by the Washington Convention (CITES) are strictly prohibited by AniMeEon.
AniMeEon also reserves the right to refuse items deemed unsuitable for handling, even for domestic delivery.
Note 1: Spray cans are frequently received at our warehouse, but are considered “hazardous” and cannot be shipped internationally.
Note 2–3: Biological materials and radioactive substances may only be shipped under special exceptions permitted by international postal agreements.

• Matches, disposable lighters, charcoal, printer ink cartridges, fuses, detonators, flares, polishes, waxes, nail remover, hair dyes, disposable heating pads
• Small oxygen generators, bleach, peroxides
• Insecticide vaporizers, pesticides, chloroform
• Uranium, plutonium, cesium, thorium, radioactive waste
• Liquid batteries, mercury, corrosive cleaning agents, disinfectants, solid germicides, mercury compounds, rat poison
• Magnets, engines, dry ice, asbestos, internal combustion engines
• Narcotics, psychotropic substances
• Live animals (CITES protected), obscene materials, uncut/raw diamonds, blood-containing products, counterfeit feed, counterfeit currency, forged stamps/securities, cultural properties, national treasures, pirated discs, lottery tickets, airsoft guns, imitation swords, precious metals (gold, silver, and alloys), gemstones (including diamonds), coins, banknotes, soil, documents, microorganisms, firearm parts (metal)
• Perishable goods
• Credit cards, gift certificates, tickets (including concert tickets, airline tickets)

If You Purchased a Prohibited Item

If the item you purchased is determined to be prohibited, it must either be:

Delivered domestically within Japan, or Disposed of.

Please check carefully before purchasing and ensure that the item is not prohibited.
