About CPSC Import Regulations

Due to updated import regulations from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), certain items that may fall under CPSC restrictions could be flagged at U.S. customs and may be returned to Japan, seized, or disposed of upon arrival.

While AniMeEon restricts orders on items that may be subject to CPSC regulations where possible, we are not always able to catch every applicable item. Please use your own judgment and refrain from ordering items that may fall under CPSC regulations.

If an item is determined to be subject to CPSC regulations after purchase and is denied entry, returned, seized, or disposed of at customs,
AniMeEon is unable to issue refunds or compensation for the item cost or international shipping fees.

What Happens If You Order a Restricted Item

If your order includes any of the items listed above, one of the following actions will be taken.
Please be aware of this before placing your order:

Order cancellation
Disposal after order completion (in this case, a refund will not be issued)

A. Unfortunately, age classifications (i.e. whether an item is intended for children 12 and under) vary by listing and product page, making it difficult for us to make a blanket determination. Please review the product description carefully before placing your order.

Q. What happens if an item I already ordered turns out to be restricted?

A. We'll reach out via email as soon as we identify the issue, and let you know whether your order will be cancelled or disposed of.

Q. Does this affect shipping to countries other than the U.S.?
